Over the past 5 years, the design of this site was
changed regularly. As you can see, my favorite colors are blue and yellow. Click on one of the following links the get back to the
past. By clicking the preview screen-dump,
you are linked to the original sized picture.

My first homepage was introduced somewhere in
the beginning of 1998. The navigation bar on the left was constructed with
regular text.

One year after my first design, more
information was added about polymers. This was the homepage at April 8,
1999.

Shortly afterwards, the button navigation was
introduced. These buttons consisted of small pictures and gave the page a
more modern look. From now on, links to other interesting sites were
regularly added.

The follow-up was only a few days later, when
the mouse-over buttons were used in the navigation.

July 12, 1999: A new look was introduced build
up of a set of four frames, navigation mouse-over buttons were replaced
with pictures again, visitor counting was started and the first
form was introduced. From now, the site was registered at some Dutch
search engines.

The complete site was transformed into the "Millennium
edition". The site did not use frames anymore. Some forms were added
for feedback, a protected area was set up and the site was registered in
>50 search engines.

It becomes a tradition to change the complete site at the
beginning of a new year. It is now possible to search within the site and
to sign a guest book. A technical detail: the site now uses cascade style
sheets and most of the -large- scripts used are not located on each page
anymore. Both features improve the speed and performance for downloading
pages. And not forgetting the improved and modern menu which
is always visible wherever you are on the pages! Off course, this site is
also offered in a version readable for older browsers or Netscape users.
The lay-out was just a small variant of the previous version and is
working with Explorer, Netscape and Opera. However a huge number of
laboratory pages are added.

The site can be reached via SanderKokDotCom. Besides, the lay-out
has been changed to find the subjects easier.
